Sprinkler Systems, Hydrants and Pump Sets
A fire sprinkler system is an active fire suppression system that provides automatic dousing of a fire. Sprinkler systems require a constant water pressure supply to ensure correct activation and need to be regularly serviced and tested to ensure proper function in an emergency.
A fire hydrant provides a source of water to fire fighters from mains water supply.
Pressure to these systems may be assisted by a diesel or electric pump set, which in turn has to be regularly serviced to ensure correct operation.
