Thermal Imaging
Tag Safe Australia uses Thermography as a diagnostic procedure to detect abnormal temperature variations in electrical installations such as distribution boards and the electronic controls of large machinery.
Our cameras utilise infra-red technology to detect temperature variation and “hot-spots” caused by circuit overloading and loose wiring connection. This technology can detect major issues before an electrical fire or equipment damage can occur.
Early detection and corrective action will save downtime cost and avoid a possible catastrophe.
Frequently encountered faults include
Hot Spots caused by
- Loose connections / Screws
- Overloaded circuits
- Aged porcelain circuit breakers
Frequency: 12monthly (not mandatory but suggested by major insurance companies)
